Im a big Half-Life player, and I thought that when voice integration came out it would be better. So it came out, and I have been having problems with it. As how it goes right now, I go to the config utility and nothing happens. I hit the setup button and set up the mic as necessary. I go back to the config util and it all checks out fine. Then, I restart the config util and I find out nothing has saved. Therefore, the voice thing never works. Why does it happen?

What sound are you using? Like a3d or eax? I don't think you can use it with a3d. I'm not totally sure though.

Im not exactly sure, im using an ESS Allegro "PCI Audio" (WDM) integrated sound card if thats what you mean. But why would it have to do with the sound card I have? It works until I restart it..
