I don't. OP can suck Jesus's cock.
LOL. /facepalm
I'm ok with texting, but the people I know don't abuse it. They use it like email, which is the correct use.
This.
People who use text messaging to chat like Yahoo Messenger/Google Talk/AIM (2-3 words, enter, 4 words, enter, etc) FAIL big time.
What's the difference?
This is my big beef with companies charging for texting services. It's just IM. I can't imagine any extra infrastructure can justify the cost that companies charge for texting. No way. What's the difference?

Texting is still useful. Great for sending a message to someone who might be at work and can't just have a phone conversation. Also great if you or the person on the other end are in a loud place and you can't hear each other, or if you're in a poor service area and you just need a few seconds of good service to get the message out.
Most people have phones capable of sending and receiving text messages, but some people just choose not to pay extra for a texting plan and tell people to please not text them since it costs them money every time.
Don't have texting? Hell, I don't have cell phones anymore.
We threw them away about 3 years ago...
