don't get pm's for some subscribed topics

some topics in my subscribed topics list have been getting new posts but I don't get pms for the posts. Just wondering why this is.
 
Thare's an option in profile for subscription delivery via PM or Email. Why it is not working for some topics for one person, I don't know. Absent any other explanation I'd say it is because FuseTalk is FUBAR.
