..since they're taking a large hit due to gas prices too :( Normally, I wouldn't complain over a few cents, but a half dollar + jump in the price of gas is really hurting some of the drivers I work with :(

Ryan: You should be the first with a "chop top" shoe box :D. Cut all your pillars in half and then weld the roof back on.

Deliveries here are already having a gas surcharge. So why tip extra?

i agree

i am considering adding some extra $$ to my garbage man's bill next time. it is a 1-2 man operation, not a corporate trash company
he deserves a fuel surcharge even if he hasn't asked for it, yet

If anything, I am going to tip less. Have you seen those gas prices lately? Yeesh, it barely leaves any money for the pizza.

If the delivery guy needs gas, he just needs to eat some of what he's delivering. It certainly works for me! ;)

You should get a position that doesn't require driving. Maybe like the sauce man or the cheese guy. :)

If you're too damn lazy to get off your ass and go get your own pizza, then pay the man who comes to your house, not knowing if you're some psycho crazy idiot with a bleach filled water pistol out to have some fun.

Plus, if you always tip well like me, your pizza usually gets there much faster ;)

If you put your Tip Tips (TM) in your signature, you wouldn't have to make a thread every month to remind people.

I hate how tips have gradually evolved from a token of gratitude to a neccessity. Is this the new wave of entitlement thats now growing in America?

I only tip if I receive great service. It isn't an entitlement, but a bonus. I hate the guys who stand there with their palm out, I don't tip them.
