Yippee! I love, love, love daylight savings time. We don't use it here in Arizona but it puts our headquarters office on the east coast another hour ahead which is one less hour of overlap which is one less hour they are there to interfere with my work each day! :)

I like the subtle post. Made me think for a half-second. And you need to move them forward occasionally due to the downward / backward force that the power cord probably exerts on it over time.

I truly wish we could abolish this abomination. I just now got used to the falling back an hour. Now my internal clock will be screwed up again. Either spring ahead and leave it, or fall back and leave it. I'm tired of this crap, year, after year, after year.

Hope Florida join AZ and Hawaii in dumping DST this year and do this time change one last time. It passed the state Senate and just waiting on Gov to get OK from Congress.

Man, you must be miserable when you travel across multiple time zones. Ever been to Europe? It usually only takes me a few days to adjust.

I'm with you there. We spend most of the year on daylight savings time already. Why not
go all the way.

Nope. I don't even have a passport. If I'm fly to either coast via airline, yes, it is pretty miserable. If I fly across the country via Camaro SS, not at all. It is only a 20ish hour drive to DC or 25ish hours to San Francisco, and I typically drive straight through. So I time my driving to where it would be my normal bed time when I arrive.

I'm in the opposite boat. Now I'm lined up with my office in CA. I like being an hour ahead

Let's move the clocks forward and keep it there. No more of this getting dark at 5pm shit.

Technically we wouldn't be dumping it, we'd be on it all year round. I'm not for it. I'd rather not be out of sync with the portion of the nation that is on EST those four months out of the year. I adapt very quickly to the time change but I'm aware that some people don't.

As a side note it's geostationary satellite transit season. That also means the days are starting to get longer! Summer is somewhat near.

I noticed it's actually light out at 7am now. Well the clock change is going to put an end to that for a bit. :p

But yeah we need to abolish this silly system and leave the damn clocks alone!
