There should be a service at a cemetary near you. Might also be at parks or war memorial sites. Check your paper today.

Show your respect to those that have fallen and served.

Viper<--I am disapointed. You usually post worth while or entertaining posts. Hope you reconsider, it is nice to see young people at these serveices. I just got back from one, and my son and I are going to another service at 13:00.

Yeah, going to a service is really good. It feels very solemn and spiritual. In Australia we have ANZAC Day(April 25), and on this day there is a Dawn Service. You need to get up at 5am and go to a War Memorial for the ceremony. I go to one in Fremantle, on the top of a hill, and you can see the sun rise as The Last Post is played. It is very emotional and life-affirming. It's like a national service, going to the Dawn Service. I feel very proud to be an Australian when I go.
