.....No! Not some Hitchcock rerun, but the real birdies that inhabit your yard. The snow cover, and that's nearly everywhere, makes it impossible for wildlife to forage....I bought 20 lbs of birdfeed and all my uneaten popcorn ,sans salt, and stale bread go outside to feed them....lend a hand...:cool:

I thought it was just old geezers like me that fed the birds in winter? I keep 50 lbs on hand,and my birds can forage.Its just easier to get it from me. I don't mind.Thier antics are fun to watch and there songs in the morning and evening assure me all is well with the world.
I have at least 30 quail in my yard every day. Thats some nice dinner walking around out there. I could no more eat them than DanC could fish out his own trout.;)
