I have overheard in english and spanish poor people having kids just to get bigger checks every month though. That is just as disgusting. I lost a job and needed assistance short term. Assistance is good short term but it can also become addictive.

I agree that you shouldn't violate their human rights (which is what starving them or sterilizing them would do)

...but I am all for structuring incentives in a way that makes having kids a lot less appealing for people that are dysfuncional and can't support them.
