In the event of a shark attack, punch him in the nose.......yeah riiiiight.

There was a guy bodyboarding in brazil who tried this, he doesnt have arms anymore.

Not much you can do besides poking its eyes out.

Not really, sharks have protective covers over their eyes when they attack to prevent eye damage. Remember they eat seals and ****** like that which have fairly large claws.

Your best option is to repent and pray I'd say while you scream like a girl for your mom.

I don't think seals or any related animals have any claws at all. Also not all species have nictitating membranes; great whites roll their eyes backwards when attacking; the membrane or rolling are only to protect the cornea from scratching, not blunt force. Even with a membrane, if you jam a thumb in, it'll still at least make it flinch. (For some reason sharks don't just close their eyelids, though they have them, according to wikipedia. They don't blink but you'd think they'd close them during attack.)

The snout, eyes and gills are all places to punch to make a shark turn away.
