I live with my justice
I live with my greedy need
I live with no mercy
I live with my frenzied feeding
I live with my hatred
I live with my jealousy
I live with the notion
That I don't need anyone but me

I spend with you
A friend is always good to have
But a lover's kiss is better than angels raining down at me
I dream of you at times when your by my side
Dream you're not just like you are
So troubled and doubling my pain
Just one more tear
You shed for me
I wish that I could climb inside your mind
And spend some time and hug and hold you
And mold you into what I'd like
But no I can't do this
Just a kiss to spend a while by you
And your familiar smile and voice
Remember when I used to play for
all of the loneliness that nobody
notice now
I'm begging slow I'm coming here
Only waiting I wanted to stay
I wanted to play
I wanted to love you
Went to see DMB first time last summer in Vegas, OMG I had the best time in world.... they are such an awesome band live. Lotsa weed there though.... LOL. Then again so does every other concert these days minus say..... DC TALK and Celine Dion..... though I'd definitely need some if I listening to them.
Does *anyone* have a copy of that song that DM played acoustic on the set of World Cafe with David Dye from a couple of years ago?? I have the Storytellers version and another live version but the acoustic version he played that day was just bone-chilling!
You might check the message boards at nancies.org... sometimes people can get lucky through there. Otherwise you're probably looking at ebay or taking your chances buying tickets at the event. You'd probably find some tix if you just showed up and started asking around.
I'm going to the Houston shows in a week--can't wait! I hope he plays the two new tracks from the new CD--they're called "You Never Know" and "Where Are You Going". Both great tunes.
