Don't Drink The Water!

There is a difference between (A) recycled water that goes to the toilet and (B) water coming from using the toilet.

This isn't as bad as it sounds at first. It could have been as innocent as collected rain water. Of course, I wouldn't want to drink it, but it is better than drinking the water that comes OUT of the toilet.

That's why here in America, we use drinking-quality water for everything, from watering our lawns to flushing our toilets to hosing out manure collection bins. Sure, it's incredibly wasteful, but that's just how we roll...

it wasnt flushed water, it was water meant for flushing the toilets. grey water here in az is actually cleaner than potable, with usually a more neutral pH than the water at your house. youd be hard pressed to find any particles in tghe grey water, and is as pure as it gets. so pure they could (and do) use it for lab testing. problem is, the public deemed it gross to drink reclaimed and processed water, so its literally illegal to drink or use in your house. its mainly sold off to large public places with water features and for watering city landscaping, as well a sold to industries that need clean water for cooling/ manufacturing purposes. Intel is one company in chandler that gets grey water for their process, a constant 63psi of water 24/7 to be exact. its also sold from chandler to the gila river casino at wild horse pass for their lazy river water feature and their many fountains. other plants literally pump it into the ground, to be naturally filtered and placed back into the water table. plans like these make good use of grey water, not like the US jut ignores it totally because a few people say it is.

"Private! I wan't that toilet bowl so clean that I can eat off it! Cause I intend to!"

Did they actually test the water to figure out if that was the cause? Maybe they got melamine into their own food supply this time.
