HANOVER, N.H. -- A Vermont man was killed and another man was charged with DUI after a rollover crash in Hanover Saturday morning.

Police said 28-year-old Leo Bombaci was driving a gray Dodge pickup truck at 1:29 a.m. when he struck a guardrail and a utility pole before rolling over at the intersection of Greensboro and Etna roads.

Warren Carpenter, 26, of Thetford, Vt., was ejected during the rollover and later pronounced dead at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.

Bombaci, of Fairlee, Vt., was arrested and charged with felony DUI. He was scheduled to appear in the Lebanon District Court on Oct. 18, 2010.

Police said that the case remains under investigation, but speed and alcohol were factors in the crash.

More importantly, always wear a seat belt. Drunk drivers don't just wreck themselves.

Oh yeah, that whole "tossed clear of the vehicle" is a big fat load.
If you hit hard to enough to eject its definitely gonna rip your human flesh to shit.

Hollywood needs to stop doing that.

I figured I was good to go when drinking and driving. I'd just tell the cop, "Hey, you know jlee?"

At least he only caused problems for himself and passenger. No other cars involved this time. Driver is now going to have many problems and probably a lawsuit for the death of his passenger.
