my idea of double dipping is where the piece of chip that goes back in the dip was never in ones mouth and is no big deal. i knew a kid who would dip, suck the dip off the chip, and then re-dip the entire chip. now thats disgusting.

I double dip among close friends and roomates who I know aren't paranoid about germs. I would never double dip at a business or more formal event where I didn't know everyone.
