I was going through my log files and:
07:08:09 61.136.108.148 GET /index.php 200
07:08:11 61.136.108.148 GET /scripts/..Á../winnt/system32/cmd.exe 404
07:08:13 61.136.108.148 GET /winnt/system32/cmd.exe 404
07:08:18 61.136.108.148 GET /winnt/system32/cmd.exe 404
07:08:20 61.136.108.148 GET /msadc/..Á../..Á../..Á../winnt/system32/cmd.exe 500
07:08:21 61.136.108.148 GET /scripts/..%5c../winnt/system32/cmd.exe 404
07:08:26 61.136.108.148 GET /msadc/..%5c../..%5c../..%5c../winnt/system32/cmd.exe 200
07:08:27 61.136.108.148 GET /msadc/..%5c../..%5c../..%5c../winnt/system32/cmd.exe 502
07:08:40 61.136.108.148 GET /msadc/..%5c../..%5c../..%5c../winnt/system32/cmd.exe 502
Doesn't that look scary? This is just off of my home computer, I am running win2k pro. So basically Win2k security is good enough for me.

It looks to me that someone was trying a known exploit on your system. A buffer over-flow type.

fergiboy,

Allow a fellow minimalist to compliment you on the outstanding page design of your Web site. I still whine about the Internet not being text-based any more. At least 9 out of 10 sites out there could be designed beautifully and simply like yours and still present the information they're supposed to present. And if they were designed like your site, most of us could spend less time online and enjoy it more!

Regards,
Jim
