I question the speed defense and attacks. Like the Bourne identity or Total Recal remake, I'm sure a few like Bruce Lee types might be able to pull off some of that high speed maneuvers in a real life scenario but I question it.
 
Most things involving physics are just wrong. Bullets, explosions, falling, jumping, everything involving water, flying, and of course everything in space. Even Gravity, which made a point of realism, completely made shit up about fire in space and different orbital altitudes, also space lingere. Of course I can't really hold the orbital mechanics against them, getting that entirely right would have slowed the plot by at least one order of magnitude, and they get bonus points for putting something as nerdy as Kessler Syndrome in a movie and then making it cool.

Oh, and if a foreign power with nukes and other heavy weapons takes control of your country a small local group with guns isn't going to make any difference whatsoever. Their leader isn't going to walk around the newly taken area with little or no defense, nor are they going to react to guerilla actions by sending 2 light panzer vehicles (which are blown up by some old WOII grenade and some makeshift fireworks or so) and some soldiers which are all killed while only being able to wound one of the locals (while the soldiers are highly trained marines in full gear and the locals don't have any protective gear).
Any movie involving computers is a great source of realism too of course. Everyone knows that high security prisons have the security system keeping cell doors locked hooked up to the internet for example, and that nuclear power plants and missile silos are online too, and have no further protection against getting commands over the internet..

These days I wouldn't be so sure about that lol.

Just to comment about that guy with the two gun things though.. Um ya that's actually very possible as long as your good with both your hands and provided it's cqc. As you don't actually aim anyways, you point and shoot. Now all the one shot kills the good guys do while the bad guys hit everything but the good guy with their unlimited ammo is a bit exaggerated.

Just saw an episode of dexter and it reminded me of something.

The cops do NOT have to read you your rights to arrest you. They have to read your rights before they question you. If they just toss your ass in jail overnight on some other evidence, you get nothing. You damn sure dont get to walk free.

I also find it funny how a guy throws a knife at a bad guy and the bad guy falls down dead instantly.

why would there be a .22 in a movie? short of like a movie about squirrel hunting. they don't make loud noises, most movies the guns are used to fight against people. .22s aren't good for self defense or attacking people.
 
don't know if this qualifies but how about computers applications as depicted in movies? Yeah, the CSI lab uses programs designed by Crytek, with full 3-d motion capabilities used to decode a fingerprint.

Oh and hackers use programs built around the Frostbyte 4 engine to give their text a 3-d matrix effect.

Yet if I was going to kill someone(s) discretely I'd at least consider a .22. A round or two to the brain or heart will kill a person, it won't "drop" them, but I doubt any discrete firearm would. In any case movies are generally about flashiness or style, neither of which fits a suppressed .22.
