:( I tried the utility CPu Burn-in at http://users.bigpond.net.au/cpuburn/ . My rig was stable at 240 fbs 11 multipler with 1.55V, now i dont seem to be able to pass prime95 even with 1.65V. Also i noticed that even tho i set my voltage for 1.55, it is been supplied with 1.58-1.59V. Tried changing this in Bios and no use. Anyone know a way to revert the effect of CPU Burn-in?

Your rig was not 100% stable in the first place if CPU Burn In caused problems. All it does is cause a full 100% load on your CPU, stressing it. If any problems occur, it's because your rig blows, not because the software has done anything wrong.

You cant "revert the effect of CPU Burn-in" you must have damaged a componet, thats one of the risks of overclocking

well, i ran prime95 for 12 hours like usual and been using my rig for over a week overclocked without no problems. The moment i used CPU Burn-in i started having problems, checked prime95 and it is having errors on the first minutes, i underclocked the fsb back to 220 and checked prime95 and still getting errors. This are the same setting that where making me past prime95 for 12 hours.

So yes i think CPU Burn-in did something to the system

If your not careful I hear it can steal your memory when your not looking. Many user have complained about this. The program load's your computer with 100% load to distract you and then when you go downstairs to get that extra bag of doritos BAM! your memory, video card, or even your mouse will be GONE! I would check to see if it didn't take your memory when you were looking. That makes the most sense.

PS. If you read through this entire post, I apologize

All CPU Burn In does is load the f uck out of your CPU. That's all. If something then goes wrong, CPU Burn In may have well caused it to fail prematurely, but it was bad in the first place, waiting to happen. No PC should fail after having a full CPU load applied to it for an extended period of time. If it does, there's a problem with it.

ok my bad, i ran cpu burn-in for only about 15 minutes and then i would quit myself and started having problems. For the sake of it i ran it again for 1 hour 45 minutes, let it complete the test, and ran prime95 for 2 hours. look like it is back to normal, will continue testing prime95 for 24 hours to see wat happens.

I wonder what the hell happenned????
