just saw the movie and got a question ... in the end, the old lady (Swallow) was standing out side holding a piece of paper when the cars passed by her ..... what was the significance of that ?

What do u mean? The piece of paper she was holding was the letter Donnie wrote to her.

it was a great movie 😉 i went a couple of weeks and saw the directors cut. I like the original better though. 😀

Butterfly Effect was to out do this movie and it sucked

I'm torn. I don't like that the director's cut was so heavy-handed in explaining things, but some of the new scenes that got added were great.
