I want to make an order to an online store w/PayPal but don't have that much sitting in PP account.

I have done this with individuals and they don't mind waiting the 4 days or so for the PayPal to clear but can you do this with a store?

Add a credit card to your account so that you can do an instant transfer from your bank account (or just set the credit card as the backup funding source)

Will a debit card work? I don't actually use credit (pay cash for everything)but I do have a bank card (debit card).
