just got two sticks of 512MB Buffalo PC3700 for $200... 🙁 and they're duds... won't even run 200 at 2.5-3-3... or any settings for that matter. 🙁 To make it worse... they're OOS and i have to RMA them. 🙁
 
My old Crucials were fine for what they were rated at... especially for the price. My Corsairs are rock solid... too bad at the expense of my wallet. 🙁 No experience with Kingston yet... unless newegg decides to give me a full refund since the Buffalos are OOS... 🙁

Oh nothing wrong with Buffalos... ive read 2 bad stories to maybe 10 success stories... i don't know why i had to be part of the 2. 🙁 Hope the replacements i get are better.
 
Crucial is very conservative with ratings. My 2.5 2100 does 2.0 up to about 151MHz or 166+ at 2.5. You'll definitely be able to do what they rate it at, and you should be able to do a bit more too.
 
Between me and my roomate we have 3 sticks of 512 pc3200 Cl 2.5, no problems here. We have not OC yet, but I don't think there will be a problem.

I thought my RAM was bad when i first built my comp, but it turns out that it was a bad XP 2500.

I am also a big fan of Crucial, but I don't think I could find and CL 2.5 from them? I forget.

The TwinMOS 3200 RAM i have (2x512) is currently running at 2,2,2,5 / 200 (atm 😉) and stable, ive had it further stabley but have no need for it. I was a bit cautious at first but it turned out to be a great buy 🙂
