Wondering if it would be a real upgrade, especially with G adapters on the computers... thanks!

My experience:

Performance: about equal to the WGT line of wireless routers, with the same caveats (lockups, lost connections, flubbed DHCP leases, etc.) but better wireless coverage. Supposedly there's a magical beta firmware that makes it more reliable, but I can't be bothered to flash a router that's sitting on a shelf gathering dust.

Other Stuff: stupidly BRIGHT UFO dome lights, need a torx driver to open the case and void your warranty to turn them off.

Thanks for the reply!

Are the Netgear routers really that prone to problems? I am thinking of replacing a Linksys WRT54GS (which is rock solid) for the sake of area coverage... Bad idea?
