Try out what notfred suggested, your extra code could be messing with firefox.
Oh, and Dreamweaver may be one of the better wysiwyg's out there, but it's still nothing compared to hand coding.

Since you aren't closing your <td> and <tr> tag before essentially starting a new row, that could be causing the blank line.

Yeah, they're way too many unclosed tags and extra divs and spans. Stuff like that adds extra lines. The page I worked on yesterday had a bunch of those too. This is why I hate Dreamweaver.

IE allows you to get away with not explicitly closing tags. Mozilla/Firefox does not as it's more closely designed around the W3C standards. Having started my tagging experience with SGML, one learns to explicitly close every tag.

Agreed on the Dreamweaver sentiment.
