Maximum processes: 1
Desired Cache Size: 8
Current Cache Size: 8
Processing: 0
Waiting to be Process: 0
Need to Fill: 8
Ready to Transmit: 5

I left for Best Buy and came back to my processor being idle. I guess I processed all my cycles already, but why isn't it transmitting and getting new ones? Isn't there a way for me to manually transmit what I've don and download new ones?

You can press Transmit. You could set it to transmit automatically by checking Auto Transmit and then clicking Save Config.

Note: This is assuming you are using SETIDriver, which it appears that you are.

Transmit is in the upper right hand corner. Are you connected to the net? Are you trying to dump through a proxy?

If auto transmit is on, then it should have transmitted unless there was a problem with your internet connection.

Seeing that your current cache is 8 and processing is 0, I think we have the same problem. With my wifes PC a celeron based Dell, it was a 566, I upgraded it to a 800. I thought this would help, but it didn't. For some reason Seti Driver just doesn't go onto the next WU. Does your stop after every one, or were you able to get 5 first? I put her old CPU into another board o/c'd it to 600 and Driver works fine on that PC. My 1.3 P4 Dell works great too. Anyone have any ideas why this happens?

I have asked this before to no avail....
Seti Gui works 100% on hers...

Thanks,
Daz

I was able to get the first 5. I ran it from yesterday morning and woke up this morning to have them all complete. Well, 5 at least.

I ran setiathome-3.03.i386-winnt-cmdline.exe and it SETI@home started up again.

here is a SS of my client. I don't see the transmit button anywhere. Also, when i rightclick on it in the taskbar, the transmit option is faded out.

Click Use Proxy and enter:

orangekid.teamanandtech.com
5001

Then you should PM OrangeKid and get him to throw 30 WUs in your queue. Then bump your cache from 8 up to 20. Then you will be good to go:)

Right now it is trying to transmit but Berkeley has mucho connection problems during the day. That's why we use Proxies to supply us with WUs during the day.

Damn. I'm on the UCD network too. Berkely sucks. Hahaaahaaa!!

Sorry, I just got a thing against UCB and UCLA.

PM'ing orangekid now.

Edit: How do I PM orangekid? I did a search for his posts in every forum, but nothing came up.
