Donating blood question

Hey-
I am thinking of donating blood tomarrow but I have recently smoked weed.
Does THC prevent you from donating? I dont really want to try if they are going to test for it =)

They ask a lot of personal questions but since it's just weed it doesn't disqualify you. They really need the blood so get down there and give

I'm pretty sure it does matter... I remember on the movie Road Trip, they wouldn't let the kids donate blood if they smoked drugs or masturbated/had sex in a certian time frame

I don't know about dope..but I know numerous people that have been refused because of tatoos. If ya got tat's they don't want your blood.

That's tattoos within 6 months (maybe a year, I forget exactly)
The only thing they care about is getting blood free of diseases. They could care less if you smoke the ganja or not.

What if you're sick? I was sick today so I didn't go with some friends to give blood. Will they still take it?

I'll be sitting down and suddenly I would start dry coughing until I finally run out of breath.

Just go down anyways.. they will make you fill out a question sheet and you will pretty much know if you can donate or not.
