Donating blood on an empty stomach and 3 hours of sleep . . .

Heh, after? I did that during the donation. I remember telling the nurse, "Umm...I can't see anything." Thanks for donating, and come back when you can. Next time, get some sleep, eat some breakfast, and drink some water.

Last time I went to the MD, he decided to draw blood. I had had only 4 hours of sleep and no breakfast. The nurse took my blood and I said, "I think I'm going to pass out." Next thing I know her and the MD are holding me up and yelling at me. That was a first for me.

When I had blood drawn for a test, I was specifically asked to fast for xx hours. During the process, the nurse told me not to look, which ironically made me watch. Didn't get sick, but felt a bit off. Didn't get a cookie or anything, either. :|

At the donatino place here they have a sign that if your eyes cloths for more then a few seconds, you lose the cash and they stop the process.
