There are SO many blood donors that they recommend that you hold off showing up to the designated centers today but to rather show up later in the week. That's what my company memo said... as much as a 6 hour wait to give blood in some areas.

there's a 3 hour wait at my local hospital in central new jersey. called my doctor's office though and he said they would be willing to do it for free with no wait. i am going after work this evening.

I'm in California. My feeling is that this might not be the end of the attacks, so I think everyone should donate blood in the coming days just incase, no matter where you are.
