Donald Trump's most ridiculous claim -- maybe ever

this is a man who wondered whether Ted Cruz's father was involved in the assassination of John F. Kennedy. A man who has said windmills cause cancer.
And a man who suggested the use of disinfectant to combat Covid-19.

So, when I say that Trump said perhaps the most outrageous thing he's ever uttered over the weekend at a rally in North Carolina, well, that's saying something.
Without further ado then, let's get to it.
"I've got to be the cleanest, I think I'm the most honest human being, perhaps, that God has ever created," Trump said.

Trump has really gone delusional.
Hope he does a Jim Jones and his zealots follow suit.
This will solve our democracy crisis in America.

As Russia has proven, nations can run on delusions, displace millions, and kill tens of thousands in a single month.
Delusional is a correct assessment. Always was.
Trouble is, this is human nature and a HELL of a lot more prevalent than anyone is honestly speaking of. You can witness such things across the globe.

Our rise in modern communication has granted power to group-think and closed mindedness. Gave rise to partisan fanaticism and encouraged people to depart from reality. In mass. As entire political movements that can shape nations and bring death to millions, if not billions. Humanity faces an extinction level event, and it is our capacity to wallow in the comforts of madness. A phenomenon, I suspect, was selectively repressed through societal filters over the past hundreds of years. Modern technology broke down our defenses, our psychological barriers, and allowed us to erect new edifices in our own image. Trump is one such symbol.

Humanity was always this broken, we were just not collectively exposed to our own kryptonite before. Pockets of intelligence and enlightenment advanced our civilizations and helped us prosper. Able to use the wheels of industry to control and filter dogma, to reshape and tame our insanity... until we bypassed the filters and make-believe overtook science, truth, and logic once more.

This crisis is bigger than you give it credit for. I say this, because a LARGE percentage of the nation will see nothing wrong in Trump's dogma. And through such madness, America's existence stands on a razor's edge.

If not for the support of the racists and other assorted dregs of society, from the most wealthy perverts who see him as the useful idiot he's been to them, to the poorest gullibles among his followers who see him as they wished he was while willingly ignoring who he really is, just where would Trump, the guy who can't stop lying, who can't stop cheating, who can't stop being an immature egocentric megalomaniac, be without them? Of course, let's not forget those supposedly religious folks who support him and his criminality, his sordid sexual escapades and those other un-godly sinful acts he committed while in office that are way too numerous to mention, who convinced themselves that Trump, of all people, was THE answer to their prayers.

Worse still are those millions of hypocritical conservatives that approve of if not condone and tolerate Trump's wanton disregard for the Rule of Law, his monumental criminal efforts to overturn an election that he lost as they desperately look forward toward reelecting him while laughably claiming he never lost the previous election to begin with.

The GOP is now in the act of severely testing the strength of the democracy that has bound the nation together since the nation's inception. The party practices divisiveness tinged with hate, fear and racism in order to win elections because the party has nothing of value to offer the millions of working class folks that are the vast majority of the nation other than having the nation's aristocrat oligarchs decide what share of the nation's wealth the commoners should have.

Say what you want about His Donaldship, but no one can deny that his he is the primo of primo trollers. Personally I don't think he believes more than a quarter of the BS he spouts-but that is colored by my belief that he spends next to no time analyzing reliability or truth of what he says. He hears something, if it supports his agenda, he adopts it.

As the saying goes, how do you know when he’s lying? Simple when his lips are moving. So the most ridiculous claim is when he tells the truth. And the only honest statement he ever said during his term was, “It’s A bible”

Now that is some first rate comedy right there.

"I've got to be the cleanest, I think I'm the most honest human being, perhaps, that God has ever created,"

He is also the most humble. Just ask him, he'll tell you.

And Mexico really was going to pay for His Wall like he said over and over again but Biden, who hates immigrants from south of the border yet wanted wide open borders for some crazy reason that no one can explain stopped Mexico from paying up.

The above is what I logically deduced after witnessing Trump's supporters making silly excuses for the hilariously blatant and comically ridiculous lies that Trump fed them for over five years and counting.

Stop The Steal! Lock 'er up! Benghazi! Putin is our friend because the Democrats say he's our enemy! Fake Obama birth certs! The do nothing Democrats! (while us Repubs stonewall their every move).

The list goes on.....and on.....and on....

Eh, I doubt he actually believes it, I think he's just bullshitting like normal.

It didn't just "happen". It's not inherently the fault of modern technology. It's been channeled that way by those who love money and power, same as it ever was, always seeking more than they have, and more than that other guy. Cui prodest?
It's also not "new". I give you: the Crusades, we didn't need modern technology for that.

Reminds me of a story about Steven Segal...

"On set, Steven apparently went into his trailer for a long time and after he emerged stated "I've just read the greatest script ever written" when asked by a costar who wrote it Seagal replied "I did" "

I don't know, alongside windmills causing cancer, cans of soup being offensive weapons, airports in the revolutionary war, Trump being a genius / knowing more about just about any topic than anyone else, Trump being the most attacked person, blood coming out of her whatever, injecting disinfectant / UV inside the body to treat covid, covid will miraculously disappear around April 2020.... the list goes on. Are any of the claims he's made significantly more ridiculous than the rest? IMO no.

The people who voted for him should feel shame and humiliation every time he opens his mouth though.

While I'm not sold on Trump intending to be sarcastic and funny (he's known for not having a sense of humor), why did the crowd laugh? Because they know it's not true. They know it's a joke of a statement. They know he lies all the time. They just don't care.

Trump has really gone delusional.
Trump is not delusional. He is just a man that has no problem looking you right in the eyes and telling you that the sky is green and the grass is blue.
It is all propaganda to him. He literally does not believe in morality or ethics.
So, a lie and the truth hold the same value. Both are just tools he uses to manipulate other people.

I think he might just be what he claims to be, the most honest psychopath in the world at representing how a psychopath sees the world. I think most psychopaths are better at being aware of how others see them and put effort into hiding it from others. Trump has mastered the art of lack of self awareness.

Trump is a pathological narcissist, and virtually everything he does flows from that. He believes he's the best and most important person on the planet. Everything must revolve around him, and any action he takes is great as long as it serves his goals.

In that sense, the statement is really just a reflection of how Trump has been for a very long time. He already saw himself as perfect; he just didn't have many people challenge him on that view until he ran for and became President. He's the textbook example of how morality isn't always a conscious choice... he's evil because of a broken brain.

It's weird though, isn't it - "I don't care" or "indifference" tends to imply a neutral/benign position, but I think what goes on with Trump supporters is a desire to burn it all down with "I don't care" slapped on as a surface emotion. At least that's the only logic that I've come up with that IMO adequately explains their behaviour.

It reminds me of a Kreia quote: "It is such a quiet thing, to fall. But far more terrible to admit it"
