Is he wrong? He has said that he could shoot someone and his supporters would still support him. How is this any different.

This is why trump, his supporters, and trumpism are so dangerous. This unquestioning support is what allows people to be ok with genocide.

In the heartland of corn stocks and hog farms, this stinks of high conspiracy.
Just another government plot. THE PLAN.
A government plot to force family owned mom and pop farms out of business so the government can take control.
The goal? Government owned and operated farms.
Solely government owned and operated.
Force the little guy out of the picture, then say hello to Uncle Sam.
A similar government stunt was tried back in the 70's when the government re-valued farm land several times higher than actual cost, then many farmers took advantage of their new founded wealth by investing hundreds of thousands in expensive farm equipment. ALL ON CREDIT.
Then, farm land values crashed forcing hundreds of farmers into bankruptcy.
Families having farmed for generation after generation suddenly went belly up.
And the government wasted no time with foreclosing.

Well, here we go again.
This time, using the tariffs as weapon of choice.
Always remember.... when it comes to politics, politicians and governments, nothing is ever as it appears.
These people stay up all night figuring out how to further screw the American people to get exactly what they want. And apparently, family owned farms are no longer to be included in the mix when it comes to supplying the American food chain.

It was the banks, not the ebil gubmint. And it was in the 80's, not the 70's.

This is all Trump's doing, however. It really screws up the established relationships between American suppliers & their beloved Chinese customers who will obviously look elsewhere to get what they want at a non-tariff price.

It's quite shrewd of the Chinese to make Trump pay a political price for being such an arrogant incompetent.

My sister's boyfriend is a farmer, and I think he had the right idea. He started a drywall and home repair business, even before these tariffs started flying around.

Maybe there should be a tariff on Chinese made clothing too? If those American companies selling those goods take a hit, they will understand, right?
What's funny about that is that Trumps daughter's clothing line, which is made in China, is exempt from any tariffs because her company holds a Chinese trademark and the tariffs are exempt from companies that hold Chinese trademarks.

Anyone seen those commercials where farmers say they love job Trump is doing but don't like tariffs coming out of "Washington"?

Washington?? Hey in case you guys don't know congress isn't trying to impose tariffs, its your ever loving President.

You can't suck Trump's dick and at the same time try to absolve him from his own policies.

Couldn't you just hear Yoda saying "hmm...confirmation bias strong in that one it is..hmm" and then hangs his head low while shaking it back and forth.

You gotta link these. Must be hilarious, the tariffs coming from Mueller and the Deep State I'm guessing.

I'm not sure Trump grasps that just his rhetoric damages commodity prices regardless of if he follows through or not. Similar thing happened to steel, he was all bellicose so foreign steel flooded in to beat the potential tariffs which hurt US steel producers badly.

He's just not good at this stuff.
