Who knows if he's even the one tweeting out of his own account.

This whole thing seems like a Weekend at Bernie's presidency, where all the people holding up the semi-conscious, racist corpse are all the worst people, and occasionally, the racist corpse also does something evil.

Hmm and posters get their panties in a bunch when you compare hitler and trump
Well, I think it's obvious that certain resident posters never actually cared about democracy and the Constitution. They only care about the aesthetics around the Constitution and their own personal situations. Not one care for anyone else or who their policies will harm.

And certainly don't compare their preferred leaders with a prominent, historical fascist. That might make them mad and support fascism even harder.

Think we're about to find out Americans are a bunch of scared wussies who just like to pretend they're all ex Special Forces with combat training.

I know, and it's utter nonsense; Hitler was a much more accomplishred flatulist, and as far as history shows...wore no diapers.

I remember this from a long time ago

But we can easily add trumpy to this

Candidate A: Associates with ward healers and consults with astrologists; has had two mistresses; chain-smokes and drinks eight to ten martinis a day.

Candidate B: Was kicked out of office twice; sleeps until noon; used opium in college; drinks a quart of brandy every evening.

Candidate C: Is a decorated war hero, a vegetarian, doesn’t smoke, drinks an occasional beer, and has had no illicit love affairs.

“Which of these candidates is your choice? You don’t really need any more information, do you? Candidate A is Franklin Roosevelt. Candidate B is Winston Churchill. Candidate C is Adolf Hitler.”

We owe over thirty trillion dollars on a payday loan, that doesn't seem fine to me. That said, I don't believe Trump is going to do anything but increase that amount.

Why did you vote for him??

Trump added over 20% of the debt all by himself and his tax cuts for the ultra wealthy and is continuing to expand the debt and this is just from his first administration…

Every dictator in history was intent on "saving his country" and ignored domestic and international laws.

This is the part when MAGAs start to revise American history, and tell us that yes, the Founding Fathers actually wanted a POTUS to rule like a king. I'm not sure that the Heroes that stormed the beaches at Normandy wanted America to be cucked by a closeted Nazi.

Is it just me, or does "saving the country" look an awful lot like "destroying the country?

Napoleon actually did say something that could be more well suited to the situation faced by Americans loyal to our Constitution.

"Never interrupt your enemy when he's making a mistake"

The citizens who vote for Trump don't care what he does, what laws he breaks, what kind of criminality he lives by, as long as some sort of ownin' da libs is promised.

That's the thing - I mean, with Adolf, people put him into power thinking he was a clown who would make a useful puppet while they pursued their own agenda - only to discover too late that he had a powerful constituency of his own, and his own agenda that wasn't going to work out well for most of them (if they were lucky they got marginalized and got to watch their country being destroyed - the unlucky ones didn't make it that far).

But history never repeats itself (who said "but it does rhyme"?) so who knows which of this crew of crackpots and bigots is going to come out on top?

Coup complete, unless someone does something. If only oaths of office meant something to people who harp on constantly about values and morals endemic to their book club only. Also a real shame so many legal barriers to this kind of thing were removed for this asshole. It all but ensures he's dealt with the wrong way. America loses again, ultimately because racist and religious Americans would rather burn the ship while underway than see a black or female captain. Being both is an Amendment too far, sorry, and those are pick and choose now if you have an (R) next to your name.

America really lost big last Nov, still stuns me.
