Over the past few weeks, I’ve been trying to understand what Trump’s legacy will be—in the context of how he’ll be viewed 20 years from now. The best analogy I can coke up with—he will be remembered as our homegrown Bin Laden. The parallels are quite striking:

- Both are scions of billionaires
- Both have personality cults and radicalized followers
- Both have instigated or inspired terrorist attacks against the United States.
- Both have disdain for US military
- Both have publicly proclaimed the American state as their enemy
- Edit: Both are almost universally hated across the Western world (but both receive praise in the Middle East.)
- Both hate the best parts of America and what we represent to the world
- Both hate Americans (Trump hates at least half the country)
- Both have killed Americans (but Trump owns the scoreboard vs. Bin Laden)
- Both are traitors (Bin Laden is considered a traitor by the Saudi state/his family)
- Both will be remembered for dark days that will live in infamy (9/11 and 1/6/21)
- Both have used religion and a holy book as justification for their agenda

I could go on and on, but suffice it to say Trump will not be remembered well by future generations.

What I find insane, though, is that we waged asymmetrical warfare against Bin Laden and his Al Qaeda followers...but we elected Trump as our leader? Maybe Bin Laden should’ve shaved, lightened his skin and traded his turban for a combover wig?

Even more insane—is that we’re expected to make peace with Trump’s Capitol insurrectionists. Let some of them off with a slap on the wrist. Shouldn’t we be expanding Gitmo right about now??

Depends. If candidates like Greene continue to win elections (GOP did very well in congressional races) then they will be the ones to decide how to write history. Unfortunately that seems to be the way we are headed.

And GOP is the Taliban...both driven by murderous unscientific medieval ideologies.

Trump waving The Bible over his head in front of a church wanting to represent himself as a prophet to his gullible cult followers is very similar to Bin Laden interpreting from the Koran Allah's will that all enemies of Islam must die in order to fulfill his own personal agenda.

Islam has major major issues compared to most 'religions' aka cults but yea the evangelicals here are barely any better, just a different book they hold dear...

Cool story, bro.
I'm curious, how do you succeed in post anything at all with your head so far up Trump/Republican's Ass? I would guess it would be impossible to see anything thru all that shit! Oh.. wait..... You can't... All you hear is the muffled sounds of all the lies Trump and Co spew.
