On Wednesday, Trump tweeted that he would be boycotting Fox News because the network had treated him "very unfairly." But a Fox News spokesperson told CNN that Trump only made that claim after Fox canceled his scheduled appearance on "The O'Reilly Factor."

"At 11:45 a.m. today, we canceled Donald Trump's scheduled appearance on The O'Reilly Factor on Thursday, which resulted in Mr. Trump's subsequent tweet about his 'boycott' of Fox News," the spokesperson wrote in an email.
Trump tweeted shortly after noon, "Fox News has been treating me very unfairly & I have therefore decided that I won't be doing any more Fox shows for the foreseeable future."

So he's a bully crybaby now.. oh I can't get my way by bullying so I'll just start bawling?

LOL

Wait, the guy that branded all Mexicans in the U.S. as rapists and criminals is complaining about being treated unfairly?

Yeah I dunno, I think I'd rather have Fox News than Trump as president. Especially if that president is able to shut down news networks.

I think maybe what Moonbeam meant was that Trump would buy out FOX and dismantle it into dust.

As for me, I wish Trump would buy out FOX and turn it into a news channel that exclusively aired news that was unbiased, factual and devoid of the incessant right wing propaganda it now deploys.

But then doing that would actually bankrupt it too, wouldn't it? ;)

Fox isn't going anywhere do you really believe Trump followers will head to MSN's Morning Joe or CNN to listen to Trump. Even if they do they'll just head back to fox after he is done speaking.

Well ok, but you do know I hope that Fox News has created millions of marching Zombies and it will take a Zombie King to destroy them.

Doesn't need to win the presidency to do that and if anything that would get in the way.

This is assuming Fox News would really sell to him in the first place, which I doubt. Fox News is probably worth more than Trump personally is.

Maybe that's Trump's strategy. Alienate Fox from their core audience of the Republican base to lower their net worth and then buy them out.

OMG, maybe that really is his strategy.

Little does he know that boycotting Fox News is probably more likely to draw in viewers than push them away. The Fox News diehard viewers aren't going to just stop watching over something like this. Whichever ones gave a crap about him in the first place - my mother watches Fox obsessively and can't stand Trump.

It's cute how Trump thinks he can win the presidential election by fighting the republican establishment tooth and nail. His narcissism is impressive. I also like how much he whines about how unfairly he's being treated. Just think of how he'd react to the real election cycle.

What you're posting makes sense. But please keep in mind that what I posted was somewhat tongue in cheek and I believe that most others posting so far have also been doing, because when it comes to Trump, nobody actually takes him seriously. :)

You say nobody, but Trump has legitimate supporters. He's in the lead at 26% in the poll out today. A full quarter of Republican primary voters in a very crowded field.

That's a good point there.

My problem with that is I view those folks who constitute that 26% the same way I do Trump. ;)

I do realize that Trump and his supporters are a force to be seriously reckoned with and that they're a chronic migraine headache for the Repub Party and that the RNC is definitely out to get him, so as to rally Trump's supporters around another more electable candidate.

But when looking at this issue from a distance, it seems to me that Trump has the least chance of winning among the top five (which really isn't saying much btw) and that after all is said and done, Trump can't win with only the ~26% of Repub voters that he's been steadily attracting up to this point in time. And it seems like he's pretty much hit a ceiling there too.

But who knows. It's still early, the clown car is still full of clowns and whose garage it eventually wanders off into is still a mystery.

FUN. ;)

Looks like in order to get my daily quota of The Donald, I'll have to watch the Clinton News Network.

Fox News has been going out of their way to take him down a notch, making a far more concerted effort not seen on any of the other candidates. But boycotting due to a spot on an episode of the O'Reilly factor being cancelled just comes off as a bit weak.

Well, regardless, those people's votes count, and Trump seems to have an absolute lock on them.

And it looks like Fox doesn't want to jeopardize that viewership:

So that answers that.

Agreed. Those votes represent the core of the right wing base that every Repub candidate must be able to rally to their side in order to win the nomination.

I'm guessing that was Trump's endgame at one point, build up enough support to get his ass kissed by the eventual nominee for his endorsement. The problem that's come about is he's so eviscerated the other candidates he'd blow his credibility among his supporters if he did that now and he's smart enough to know it. Trump is on the base's page and the other candidates are so far off it I really don't see a way for the establishment to win the base back over at this point. Personally I'm glad to see the R base finally wise up to how they've been exploited by the party and they could have picked worse than Trump to get behind in expressing it. I don't know how it will all work out, but I don't expect Trump to fizzle out.

Trump and Murdoch; two arrogant rich guys with egos way bigger than the size of their huge piles of cash having a sword fight with their itty bitty teenie weenies. I wonder which one is going to bend over and get stabbed in the ass first.
