Donald tells Martha what he really thought of her 'Apprentice'

It was so awesome when The Donald went on SNL. The sketch about the janitor was priceless.
"My hair is supposed to look like this, I'm a janitor."

For those who are too lazy to click the link:

Trump's response: "It's about time you started taking responsibility for your failed version of "The Apprentice"," he wrote in a Feb. 21 missive to Stewart that he shared with NEWSWEEK. "Your performance was terrible in that the show lacked mood, temperament and just about everything else a show needs for success. I knew it would fail as soon as I first saw it?and your low ratings bore me out."

Trump went on to attack Stewart's sidekick on the show, her daughter Alexis, as well as Stewart's practice of writing thank-you notes to contestants she'd just fired. "Between your daughter, with her-one word statements, your letter writing and, most importantly, your totally unconvincing demeanor, it never had a chance?much as your daytime show is not exactly setting records."

At the end of his letter, Trump takes one more shot. "P.S.," he wrote. "Be careful or I will do a syndicated daytime show, perhaps called The Boardroom, and further destroy the meager ratings you already have."

Translation:

"My own show(Trump's) is down several million viewers from the previous seaons and I have to wave around my sword to stir up some cheap publicity for a little ratings boost".

Trump... declared bankruptcy what twice? 3x? worth $2.5billion in highly-leveraged real estate.. inherited millions..

Stewart.. never declared bankruptcy..worth $1 billion mostly liquid stock..

Trump is all fluff..

"Between your daughter, with her-one word statements, your letter writing and, most importantly, your totally unconvincing demeanor, it never had a chance?much as your daytime show is not exactly setting records."

"You made this firing up just as you made up your sell order of ImClone," he wrote. "The only difference is?that was more obvious."

OUCH!

Actually, if you know anything of this (such as reading the OP article)... Martha started this by accusing Trump.

HA HA!

What's kind of funny is how Donald Trump takes no responsibility for the show's poor performance even though he was an executive producer.

And while I'm sure Martha Stewart's show stunk, it certainly didn't help to have it paired to the original Apprentice series. I think people are just getting a bit tired with the whole series...

Trump takes more shot at Martha during interview with Newsweek:

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/11506464/site/newsweek/

"It?s another thing to do a second show, which I didn?t like the idea of it. But I didn?t think it would fail as badly as it failed. I mean she was a disaster on the show."

"I think it hurt my ratings because people were angry that we would allow them to put on a piece of garbage like that. She was terrible."

Hey, he's right. Martha Stewart sounded really phony in her version of the Apprentice. She's just as much of a hard ass as Trump is, but instead she tried to play this totally unconvincing "little Miss nice boss" act throughout the whole season.

Just because you are an executive producer does not mean you have much power.
