Bloody Monday..
Wonder if more anchors are going to be let go today with the Tucker distraction!
After the Nikki Haley announcement, he says she’s past her prime even thought she’s younger than all the potential candidates.Meh, nobody on the left cares. Wasn’t this the guy who said some misogynistic words recently?

He's just crass and condescending. The subject of Nickey Haily came up, talking about women in their prime, and he just blurts out that she isn't in her prime. Much more along those lines. There seems to be a lot of hate for lemon, I don’t watch cnn so can someone explain what issues people have with him?
Apparently this was the last straw—GOP long shot presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy was goading Lemon with his comment that “the NRA helped secure voting rights for black Americans through protecting the 2nd Amendment” (let’s just ignore what the NRA did when the Black Panthers armed themselves).
Lemon made it personal and was completely unprofessional in his response, then veered into racist rhetoric with his “whatever ethnicity you are” comment. I mean…really, I’m surprised CNN took this long to fire him. Definitely used Tucker as cover. Shame.
But they have too many anchors. Why do you need 3 for the morning show? And they moved to that format for the next 2 blocks of shows.Chris Licht is taking a sword to that staff at CNN.
I mean, that's kind of tame ... I've seen lots of analysis on this and Lemon is right. There's a whack-job on his show telling him to his face that he's wrong about his own history. It's just that we're (americans) not used to seeing this kind of push back in interviews AT ALL and when we do the fainting couches come out.
If I had to guess, this is being used as an excuse to get rid of him based on more than a few things. First, the change in direction of CNN in general. They've turned right with new leadership. Second, his previous statements (which were much much worse) about Haley.
I’ve heard about the Haley comments but don’t know the full context. Was she passed her prime as in she’s over the hill or was she passed her prime as in her 15 minutes of fame were over? Does he have a history of sexist remarks?
Yup somehow a female politician is over the hill in their 50’s yet no issues with males serving into their 80’sI’ve heard about the Haley comments but don’t know the full context. Not sure about his history of remarks, but the Haley comment was definitely the former.

It’s a pretty stupid comment for sure but a fireable offense? That seems a little extreme.
