Don Imus Returns!

Story here.

My favorite part of the article:

The acid-tongued broadcasting icon was fired in April after he called the Rutgers University's women's basketball team "nappy-headed hos" on the air, sparking a national furor and calls by civil rights leaders and broadcast journalists to resign.

But just three months later, Rev. Al Sharpton, one of the strongest voices calling for the shock jock's firing, said Imus had a right to make a living and could return to radio.

It's nice to know that Sharpton now decides who can and can't make a living.

Meh; never been a big fan of him. But he has apologized for his transgressions, so I guess welcome back Imus.

Maybe for his first show he could interview Dog the Bounty Hunter; that'd be some top-notch radio .

It's nice to know you think Sharpton isn't entitled to exercise his First Amendment right to free speech.

When did he call for Sharpton's voice to be silenced? He was pointing out what an ass hat Sharpton is.

He shouldn't have apologized for anything. The whole thing was ridiculous.

omg who the hell cares?

he's some racist dude who was exercising his freedom of speech... big frigging deal. it's his life, he can do and say what he wants and suffer whatever consequences his network(s) deem necessary.

big frigging whoop. he's back on the air. oh no. i really give a damn.

i feel that if people don't like what he has to say, they should do what i do and not listen.

edit: by the way, i wish al sharpton would just shut the fuck up and go away.

A number of people made Imus a cause celebre or the poster boy for the persecution of the US white man by everybody else.
