Dominators... Wow

Been playing with the memory tonight. So far have gotten DDR3 2090 out of my dominators at 1.58v. Has left me speechless. What amazing ram.

Was thinking about getting the dominators as well. I take it they run well on the P67 platform? I know they are not on the QA list for any Asus P67 boards though. That is why I am a little hesitant to buy them for mine..

Did you experience any substantial performance gains from running your memory at higher speed? In games that is?

According to an test article on Bit-tech.co.uk, using higher speed memory will not result in greater performance, especially in games. Lowers CL will help you somewhat, but since the BCLK is not changed substantially, there will not be staggering gains, if any.

With my K at 4.6 along with my Corsair F60 SSD. It's already blazingly fast but at 1333 is didn't feel as quick as 2090

Aw ok. you went with the GT's those are a bit much for me 8Gb is like $250. Where the regular dominators are like $140. I don't think the GT's are worth over $100 more
