Pipe bombs injure 5 in Midwest, more threatened

If you feel insecure, put a padlock on your box with a note to your carrier to deliver your mail to your porch or hold it at your postal branch. (in case your driveway is a mile long)

When I lived in the boonies, it wasn't uncommon for teenagers to ride around and cherry bomb mailboxes. Rigging a trigger to purposely hurt someone, however is much more serious. I would definitely take this seriously.

Tipton is like 30 minutes from where I live along I-80. Asbury is up in Dubuque, off of HW-20. Anamosa is down the road 45 minutes from Asbury along 151.
