In "Pic 2", it looks like the guy's seriously considering buying one..
The dual exhaust pipes are silly.. we all know they run a single 2" (if that) pipe to the back where they have some cross-flow type muffler exiting to two different tips. Useless in terms of performance.
Out of all those pictures, the only cars I really liked were the Corvette, the old vipers (don't like the new one very much), the Ferrari and the Porsche. Everything else was between "ok" and "that's stupid".

Yeah, I was kinda disappointed since I was hoping to check out the new Z and the RX-8... but neither of them were there... heck they didnt even have the Focus SVT on display!
I know this Lancer isn't the standard model sold,
but seeing the window sticker, it looks like some special edition like those Monte Carlo's they sold that looked like NASCARs..
just looks goofy on the street..and by the way.. what is that air scoop thing on the roof ?

heh. you will NEVER be able to get one of those from the dealer. as for the scoop, i have no idea but it might be an air intake.

I think the air scoop on the roof is an air inlet into the driver's cabin... It let air in for the driver and co-driver in rallying...
It's located on the roof so it doesnt suck in all the dust during mountain rallies...
The roof air scoop is for cabin ventilation in rallies. Race-bred rally cars don't have air conditioning (what purpose built race car does?) so they put that scoop on there to keep the driver and co-driver from asphixiating.
