When I think of Buick, I think of luxury and quality. No wait, let me start again.

When I think of Buick, I think of a 2 ton sofa with wheels and jello for shocks/struts/springs. I also think of old people driving 20 mph under the speed limit, in the fast lane, with their right turn signal perpetually on.

I like Tiger Woods but there is no way I would buy a Buick just because he is their spokesperson. Are people really that stupid?

Unless Buick completely overhauls their entire model line and puts out a bunch of amazing new models, they will never appeal to people under 50 the same way Lexus does.

Well, for some young people Lexus doesn't appeal that much because it's for "old rich farts" (possible exception, IS300) but Buick's totally "old fart" territory. For some 30-40somethings, they may actually buy into it. Depending on if they make decent cars and throw large enough of a marketing blitz. Then again, prolly not. Buick... they should just put the marque to rest like Plymouth.

Lexus: Yuppie car, good, but very much for the image concious.

Buick: A sofa on wheels. When you're drive across the country, that's what you want. If you don't drive agressively they are very nice cars. With the exception of the GSX, and the Grand National (incl. GNX).
