Domain transferring question..

I have a domain name that I registered for free along with the promo with Dreamhost, and it is registered under my name so I own it.. but since I don't use that domain that often, I want to cancel the webhosting account but keep the domain.

So now if I want to change my domain registrar to GoDaddy, all I do is just transfer the domain right?

I'm thinking about that too.. GoDaddy seems too whored out these days What other advantages does it have other than you have free private listing for a year? Should I be concerned that Namecheap is not ICANN-accredited?

Nope ... I like their clean interface. GoDaddy looks too damn busy ... I think I used them once and I prefer Namecheap's interface.

That is a concern.

I think they may be ICANN accredited since they're an eNom reseller which is ICANN accredited.
