Domain transferring question..

I have a domain name that I registered for free along with the promo with Dreamhost, and it is registered under my name so I own it.. but since I don't use that domain that often, I want to cancel the webhosting account but keep the domain.

So now if I want to change my domain registrar to GoDaddy, all I do is just transfer the domain right?

TIA 🙂

I'm thinking about that too.. GoDaddy seems too whored out these days 🙁 What other advantages does it have other than you have free private listing for a year? Should I be concerned that Namecheap is not ICANN-accredited?

Nope ... I like their clean interface. GoDaddy looks too damn busy ... I think I used them once and I prefer Namecheap's interface.

That is a concern.

I think they may be ICANN accredited since they're an eNom reseller which is ICANN accredited.
