Domain transfer to Namecheap from Godaddy

In the namecheap transfer process service, it says that it will email the admin contact listed in the whois info. The problem is, I have no access to that address nor do I really know what it is. When I try to change it through Godaddy's terrible, terrible GUI it tells me that my own domain is private.

There is some code they should have sent you to unlock it. I don't remember exactly how it works.

I did. Domains by proxy emailed it to my email address - how they got it I'll never know :-|
