I would like to register my own domain for personal use (email and URL redirection), but having never done it before, I was hoping to get a little guidance first. I'm just planning to setup a personal webpage on whatever ISP I end up with, but I would like to keep the same email address and website address, as starting in December, I will be moving around every two years or so.
My big questions is Can I afford this? If I register for 2 years, what is the renewal price going to be after that? What's going to be the best deal in the long run? Or is there another option that I'm not thinking of?
