I just registered two names with lowcostdomains.com for $24/yr each. I knew there were cheaper ones out there but a friend had already used them with no problem so it was worth the few extra dollars to get mine. Having unlimited email aliases could come in handy.

I thought they couldn't charge for you moving the domain away from them to another registrar?

They don't charge when you move to another registrar, only for another registrant (0wner of the domain.) See the other thread.
