Domain Name Length

Do people have some sort of limit for a URL length they want to type? One domain name possibility I've been thinking about has 17 characters (not counting the www and trailing extension, whether it be com, net or org). So it would be something like:

www.ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQ.com

Is that too long, or am I just worrying a little too much? 🙂

63 characters. And there are several that length. Longer domains, as longer names, are predictably less popular.
