Thank you for contacting us. It is not a problem on virus infection and not a problem on our part. As stated on the last email, the domain was no longer hosted with 1and1. We are only the registrar of the domain. If you have problem on the service of the website, then you need to contact the host of the domain. Below is the result of the dns look up of the domain. Domain Name: advirtizit.com Registrar: 1 & 1 INTERNET AG Whois Server: whois.schlund.info Referral URL: http://REGISTRAR.SCHLUND.INFO

Thank you for contacting us. Please accept our apologize about those mixed up. Your domain name seems to be working fine now. It is now showing up the correct content of your own site. Do you have any other concern that we maybe of help with? If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact us.

Just giving me the runaround

Try it from another computer to make sure that yours is not infected with some kind of DNS Redirector Trojan.

If it does do the same from other computers, then it might be some trouble on 1and1 shared IP server Not resolving your specific Domain correctly.

Provided that it is Not one of the cheappo deal that you have to stay with them or lose your Domain, move it elsewhere.

It's not 1and1's fault. You've told the world that your Public DNS records are hosted on webhostingpad.com name servers and at least one of those servers is incorrectly configured.

Note the warning about your DNS servers, as shown on Checkdns.net:

===========================
"NS list mismatch: registration authority reports that domain is hosted on the following servers: 'ns1.webhostingpad.com; ns2.webhostingpad.com', but DNS server ns1.webhostingpad.com reports domain to be hosted on 'ns57.1and1.com; ns58.1and1.com'.

Please make sure that you configure the same DNS servers in registrar database and on your DNS"

===========================
When somebody requests DNS information for advirtizit.com, the server responsible for your domain says the first nameserver is at ns1.webhostingpad.com.

But ns1.webhostingpad.com, tells the requester that your nameservers include ns57.1and1.com.

Basically, you are referring requesters to two different sets of nameservers, with different content. One of the webhostingpad name servers probably points to your correct web server, while the other nameserver tells requesters that the nameserver is a 1and1.com nameserver that points to a 1and1 parked page.

Modify the records on ns1.webhostinpad.com and ns2.webhostingpad.com to point directly to your web site and eliminate any reference to the 1and1 nameservers.

Compare your results to a set of properly configured DNS records:
CheckDNS.net check of DNS records for ZoneEdit.com, a supplier of DNS servers.

I thought he is Hosting with 1and1, otherwise what would be the point to move to GoDaddy.

The OP's records at his/her Registrar (1and1) says that the nameservers are ns1. and ns2.webhostingpad.com. Since webhostingpad.com is a web hosting service, I'm guessing (I didn't check the IP addresses) that the (correct) web site is hosted there.

Unfortunately, ns1.webhostinpad.com redirects queries to ANOTHER set of nameservers, ns57. and ns58.1and1.com. Those two 1and1 nameservers likely point queries to a parked web page at 1and1, which is where the parked pages are coming from.

I didn't look that hard, but I'm guessing that queries that go to ns1.webhostingpad.com are ending up at 1and1's web site. And queries to go to ns2.webhostingpad.com are ending up at the (correct) webhostingpad site.

Sounds like the OP needs to change web host's or get webhostingpad to stop referring to another server.

No problem. DNS can be very simple, but it's easy to mess it up.

Basically, if you have a web site:

1) Go to your domain records at your Domain Registrar (1and1.com) and tell it where your nameservers are located. You can use the 1and1 name servers, you can use your web host's nameservers, or you can use another service like ZoneEdit.com. Any of them will work. But just select ONE.

2) Now go to the nameservers themselves and configure them. Keep the nameserver records VERY simple. DELETE everything and start from scratch. Usually you only need two records for a web site. Create separate "A records" for "mydomain.com" and for "www.mydomain.com".

Add another A record (like mx.mydomain.com) to point to your mail server. Then put the mail server's name into the MX record section.

If you have additional servers, add additional "A" host records for each of them.

That's it. That's all . Anything else is just a possible source of error or confusion. And don't use CNAME records. Delete any that exist.They can be confusing. Use only "A" records.

Well, if you own your own mail server, it wouldn't hurt to add an SPF TXT record. And you'd want to have your ISP create a Reverse DNS record for that IP address. But that's beyond the scope of what most folks need.
