Hi all,
Sorry if there's something similar to this on the forum, but I can't find it.
So I wanted to start dabbling with network admin while I was at school so I set up one of my old PCs as a server on my family's network and set it up as a DC. While adding the rest of my family's computers to the domain I made a typo for the DNS of one of the machines. Now I can ping the machine's IP within the network (I know this is because it is host -> endpoint), but even though I know the credentials for the machine, I cannot get access to it remotely. Is it because that machine's local username has a blank password?
Thanks! (And again sorry if this is a dumb question or has been answered before)
