Domain cannot be found error while logging in?

I need to reformat, but it won't let me boot from CD. I decided to use Delpart, but in order to do that I need to go into safe mode with Command prompt. When I get to the log in part, I click on administrator and type in the pass. Then I get an error that says: "The specified domain either does not exist or cannot be found". Is there any way to get rid of this error, or another way to reformat? Thanks!

Sounds like a big time virus or Trojan. Boot with an external medium - floppy or CD - then run FDISK and clean house. Preferably a floppy with an old Win98 E-disk.

yeah, I would suggest running an antivirus program (if possible) once you are in safemode and see if that helps. You might also want to try some spyware programs.

There's definitely no viruses. I just put this computer together from scratch with all brand new parts.

When I boot from the CD, it goes straight into Windows.
