Domain and Cpanel

I have opened up cpanel to try to change my old domain to my new domain. I do not know how to change it so that my server recognizes my new domain. Thank you. Any help is appreciated.

right click on my computer,choose properties, 2nd tab is computer name, there should be an option to disjoin domain and join a workgroup. Do that, reboot, then repeat the same steps, but join your new domain.
