Dolby atmos setup question

Does anyone know anything about Dolby atmos speaker setup? more then just what you find on the web. I already have a 7.1 setup and want to go to 7.1.2 but the 4 surround speakers are already high in the corner of the walls and ceiling facing to the optimal seating. So is it even worth installing the ceiling speakers? If so where to take advantage of them ?

Worth it? IMO not really. My receiver does Atmos at well but I'm happy with 7.2 (I have high arched ceiling so placing speakers way up there would be stupid. and hanging them down on poles even more stupid.)

With a good 7.1 or 7.2 system you will not miss anything.

I'd drop the two speakers you have into the ear height area and do the atmos up high pointing up at 45.
For my area, the Atmos is amazing, it adds so much to the stage.
