Doing Windows XP Reinstall for Friend

I plan on doing a reformat and reinstall of windows xp on a friends computer with my XP CD but using her serial number that is attached to her case. Will I run into any problems?
 
You will need an OEM copy on the disc to use if the product key is OEM. You can usually tell if there is a manufacturer name on the sticker as well.

An OEM key will not work with a retail cd and vice-versa.
