Doing A Tracerout From Cmd Knocks Out Connection

is the computer directly connected to a modem? or to a router that you bought?? if to a modem, maybe your isp decided to kill connections doing tracerts, etc and set the modems to do that now.

what router do you have then, what model? has anything been changed on it settings wise or firmware updated? you did tracerts before and they worked on this exact setup right?

I have not touched anything everything has worked fine before, I only noticed this after some software has been installed, so I'm not sure what software would cause this.

I'll try and uninstall a few things and play with something I think might be it, and report back.

THANKS

Ok I guess the higher speeds on the router didn't like the older firmware so I updated it and all is good now. 😉

ALOHA
