Thesis & an outline of my paper? What the heck is thesis.

In-line citations, endnotes, or footnotes? Can some one give me an example of how to do this?

annotated bibliography? I have not a clue to what is this asking for.

Thesis - main statement or idea of paper
Annotated bibliography - a listing of sources and a short description of what they say and why they're relevant
